Our Team

Dr Young is a native Long Islander, a 1984 graduate of Binghamton University and a 1988 graduate of SUNY College of Optometry in NYC. He is an avid runner and triathlete.

Dr. Vazquez Young grew up in the Bronx and graduated cum laude from St. John's University. She is a 1988 graduate of SUNY College of Optometry in NYC. Her interests include ballet and yoga.

Kim is a NYS licensed optician.  She had the pleasure of joining the Main Street Optometry team in 2007.

Gail is a NYS Licensed Optician with 30 years of experience in the optical field. Gail’s witty honesty makes your frame selection process fun and easy. She is on top of all the latest trends and lens technologies. She promises you will leave LOVING your new eyewear. Gail also specializes in contact lens insertion and removal training.  Gail is a PTA, soccer mom to two beautiful teenage girls. Together with her husband, they loves boating, the beach, and skiing down a mountain of fresh snow.

Claudine is a certified optician with an education in business and expertise in sales. She had the pleasure of joining the Main Street Optometry team in 2013.
